Engine wont start

When an engine doesnt start, there are several things, and factors to look at.

First, Will the engine turn over? If so, then the engine should be checked for spark, and fuel. Any engine needs fuel, fire, and compression to run. Any one of these will cause an engine not to run. Most cases the engine is starved from fuel. If the fuel pump puts out 5 LBS less pressure than it should, that can cause an engine not to run. A fuel pressure guage is the ONLY way to determine that problem.
If the fuel pressure is at specs, then the engine should be checked for spark. There are alot of sensors that will cause an engine not to get spark, and fuel. Only experienced technicians with the propper tools & equipment should do an engine diagnostics. Guessing at what is wrong will cost hundreds of dollars if not thousands.
